It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Lucinda (Cindy) Brown, who passed away peacefully at her home on November 1, 2025, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.
Cindy was a loving and devoted mother to five children: Bobby (Billie) Brown, David Brown (Shelly Camper), Kimberly Sanchez, Debbie (Mike) Haney, and Sarah Brown Rock (Antonio Marshall).
She was also a proud grandmother-affectionately known as Mammaw and Granny-to Brandon and Kayla Brown, Antonio and Avaya Marshall, DeAndre Robinson, and Michael and Jeremy Haney. Cindy's love extended to her great-grandchildren as well: Matthew, Jordan, Channing Slaughter, Jada, Keelyn Brown, and Liam Haney.
Cindy is survived by her sister Emaline Hulett (Big Kim) and was a cherished aunt to Alford Stokely and Tiffany Torres.
Cindy will always be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the deep love she had for her family. Her presence brought light and comfort to everyone around her.
Mom, Granny-you will be deeply missed and forever loved.
