A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Grandview Memorial Park, 620 S. Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC with Rev. Irvin Plowden officiating.
Mrs. Giles was the daughter of the late Everett W. Harless, Sr. and the late Ida Harris Harless. She was preceded in death by her husband, JP "Pete" Giles, daughter, Deborah Kay Giles, three sisters, Peggy Nichols, Beulah Glenn and Zella Poag, one brother, Everette Harless, Jr. She was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church where she was very active as a Sunday school teacher, member of the UMW, lay leader and on numerous committees.
Mrs. Giles is survived by two sons, Tim Giles (Heather) and Brian Giles (Tish), three daughters, Terri Williams, Linda Parker (Lamar) and Rebecca Roberts, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Jack Harless.
Memorials may be made in Mrs. Giles' name to Riverview Hospice & Palliative Care, 2450 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

I am saddened to hear the news of Aunt Lucy's passing. I remember growing up she was always so kind and had a smile on her face. She was one of the best.
