Luis Alvarado Diaz, age 88, of Erwin, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 10:10 AM. Mr. Alvarado is a native of Durango, Mexico and a son of the late Juan and Romana Alvarado. He was married to his loving wife, Isabel Alvarado, for 65 years. They lived a full and blessed life with five children, 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Luis Alvarado Diaz has left behind to cherish his memory: beloved wife of 65 years, Isabel Alvarado; children: Daniel Alvarado, Isai Alvarado, Obed Diaz, Jonatan Alvarado, and Sarai Alvarado; grandchildren: Yureida Isabel Alvarado, Marian Alvarado, Marvin Alvarado, Kevin Alvarado, Orel Diaz, Ozzi Diaz, Luis Omar Alvarado, Nataly Alvarado, Jonathan Alvarado, Yire Aguilera, Elias Terrazas, Joel Terraazas, Jorge Luis Alvarado.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Luis Alvarado Diaz in a celebration of his life to be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 5, 2025 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home.
