Luis Marin Obituary
Luis was born on January 9, 1947, in Puerto Rico and was the only son of the late Aurio and Jacinto (Oqiundo) Marin.
He was raised in Juncos, PR before moving to Hartford and then settling in Bristol.
Luis worked as a dietary supervisor for Cedarcrest Hospital in Newington before his retirement. He was a diehard fan of the New York Yankees and enjoyed fishing. His greatest blessings in life were his grandchildren who he loved dearly.
In addition to his loving wife, Luis is survived by five children: Raquel and Merari Marin of Florida, Juan Reyes, Iris Marin, and Nelly Marin, all of Bristol; his sister: Eneida Marin; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday (May 16, 2025) at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, between 5 and 7 PM. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Please visit Luis memorial website at www.FunkFuneralHome.com.
