Luke J Lewis, 65 of Versailles Kentucky passed away on Thursday April 10, 2025 at Central Baptist hospital in Lexington, Kentucky following a brief illness. Born June 3, 1959 in Versailles Kentucky, he was the son of Clara Lewis and the late Fred Lewis. Luke enjoyed most anything on the water including fishing and boating. He was an avid project goer, able to build anything he had a vision for. Luke worked in construction and was involved in several masonry projects. Luke was quick in action as a jokester and learned the art of story telling from his later father, Fred.
Luke will be forever loved and remembered by his children, Elijah Lewis of Lexington, Abigail Lewis of Lexington, Brother Jai Lewis of Versailles, sister Alanna (Steve) Hanna of Jacksonville Florida and mother, Clara Lewis of Versailles as well as some very special nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home, Dave Menser officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 4:00 pm. Friends and family are encouraged to leave messages of condolence and share memories here on Luke's tribute wall.
