Lynda M. Morrow (Clark) passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023 after a long battle with Parkinson's. Born in Haverhill, MA she was the youngest of five children of the late Richard Clark and Eva Dupre.
Lynda is survived by her two children: Jeffrey Morrow and his wife Lori of Watertown, MA and Deanna Griffin and her husband Ken of Sudbury, MA. She also leaves 2 immensely cherished grandsons, Conor and Evan Griffin. She is also survived by her older sister, Christine Roberts, her former husband, Frank Morrow Jr., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lynda was an avid gardener, at one point running a two-acre perennial garden as well as keeping a personal garden throughout her life, caring for beautiful roses and hydrangeas. The horticulturist Liberty Hyde Bailey once said "A garden requires patient labor and attention. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfill good intentions. They thrive because someone expended effort on them." And this describes our mother, Lynda Morrow, perfectly. She expended the same love and nurturing she spent on her passion for gardening as she did for her family; Jeff and Deanna profited greatly from the care and attention she gave to them. And as the years went on, her beloved grandsons Conor and Evan grew under that same care.
Relatives and friends are invited to remember Lynda with her family during visiting hours this Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 5-8 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine Street, Exeter, NH. She will be buried at the Exeter Cemetery at 49 Linden Street at 11am on Friday, January 5, 2024. All are welcome to join.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Lynda's memory to St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham.
