Funeral services for Edna Lynette Pace Batchler, 61, of Hilda, SC will be held at three o'clock p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2023 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Scotty Hiers officiating; burial will follow in the Batchler Family Cemetery, Hilda, SC. The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be given in Lynette's memory to Folk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853. Lynette passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
Born in Beaufort County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Edward Pace and Thelma Hazel Black Gunter. She was of the Baptist faith and was a caring person who loved her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, growing flowers and gardening. She loved to be outdoors and play with her dogs, Boo-Boo and Candy Cane. She previously was an EMT with the Blackville Rescue Squad and retired as a paralegal.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Thomas Batchler, Sr.; her daughter, Serena (Tom) Bramlett of Barnwell, SC; a son, Perry Pressley of Roanoke, VA; step-daughter, Maegan (Nelson) Ferrera of Brewton, AL; step-sons, Timothy (Samantha) Batchler of Hilda, SC and Randy Batchler, Jr. of Brewton, AL; her grandchildren, Chance Alan Gantt and Willow Haze Beasley; brothers, Brian (Crystal) Gunter of Early Branch, SC and Chris (Becky) Edwards of Barnwell, SC; a number of nieces and nephews, and her two, four-legged friends, Boo-Boo and Candy Cane.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Amy.
