Lynn Wells Hasson, 72, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away suddenly, Sunday, February 23, 2025 in her home. She was born on October 27, 1952 in Lamar, Missouri to Carl and Marjorie (Speedy) Castle. She graduated from Lamar High School in 1971 and attended Southwest Missouri State. She married Jeffrey Hasson on January 3, 1976 and moved to Springfield shortly after.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, John and Jean Hasson; and brothers-in-law, Bob Scott and John Hasson. She is survived by her spouse, Jeffrey Hasson, of the home, daughters Elizabeth (Andy) of Springfield and Alexandra Thompson (Josh) of Marshfield. She leaves behind four grandchildren: Chloe Carlstrom and Truman, Reagan, and Madison Thompson. She is also survived by siblings Bill (Suzie) Castle of Cincinnati, Ohio; Carla Scott of Lamar, Missouri; and Scott (Debbie) Castle of Sheldon, Missouri and brother and sister-in-law Jim and Linda Hasson of Lamar, Missouri, as well as multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lynn adored working in her backyard and always had the most beautiful yard full of flowers and plants in the spring and summer. She was a lover of all kinds of music, especially Jimmy Buffett and George Strait. Lynn loved to listen to the M-Dock Band, making several trips to Ixtapa, Mexico with them and friends. She will be missed by her friends and family, as well as her two cats, Oreo and Smokie.
No services are planned at this time.
