Mabel King Obituary
Mabel married Herbert King on January 30, 1960. She drove school bus for Beekmantown School District for 30 years. Mabel was dedicated to the family farm throughout her entire life. She enjoyed whenever someone would stop by to visit at her home.
Mabel is survived by her children, Sherry Favreau and her husband Vern "Jim", Terry Hicks (King), and Bryan King and his wife Tina; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Art Goddeau and Phillip Goddeau; several nieces and nephews also survive her.
She was predeceased by her parents, George and Dorothy; husband, Herbert; son, Kevin King; brothers, Clifton (Minnow) Goddeau and John Goddeau.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Burial will be in the spring in St. Alexander's Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Elmore SPCA or St. Alexander's Church.
