Madeline (Santos) Lavoie of Tiverton passed away Wednesday, August 20th, 2025.
She was the widow of the late Armand B. Lavoie, Junior.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Antone R. Santos and Delinda (Melo) Santos.
Madeline worked for the Tiverton School Department, where she served as a lunch lady and bus monitor until her retirement. A devout parishioner, she was an active member of Holy Ghost Church in Tiverton and a valuable contributor to the Holy Ghost Church Feast Committee. In her leisure time, Madeline found joy in crafting, traveling, and embarking on various trips. Above all, she cherished moments spent with her beloved grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her daughters, Jo-Ann Malloy (husband Bradley), and Robin St. Pierre (husband Normand); her grandchildren Amanda, Jessika, Evan, Erin, Nicole, and Victoria; and her great grandchildren Jackson, Greyson, and Aurora. She was the mother of the late Armand B. Lavoie, III.
Her visitation will be held Sunday, August 24th from 4 to 7 PM at the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St. in Fall River.
Her funeral will be held Monday, August 25th at 9:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:30 AM at Holy Ghost Church in Tiverton, followed by interment in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.
