Madeline Murphy

Madeline Ora Murphy, born November 24, 1933, in Rochester, NH, passed away on December 29, 2025, in Dover, NH. She was the beloved daughter of Albert Lambert and Cecile Lambert (Forcier), both of whom predeceased her.
Madeline had a deep love for the outdoors and took great pride in her landscaping, yard work, and beautiful flower gardens. She also enjoyed cooking, especially when it meant preparing large meals for her family. Family gatherings were very important to her, and she cherished time spent surrounded by those she loved.
A crafty and creative person, Madeline enjoyed working with her hands and creating things that reflected her care and attention. She was a strong, independent woman throughout her life, known for being outspoken and opinionated, traits that were part of what made her so memorable and admired by those who knew her.
Above all else, Madeline loved her family and treasured the time she spent with them.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Murphy and his wife Marsha, and Scott Murphy and his wife Susan; her brothers, Paul and Raymond; her sisters, Pauline and Celia; her grandchildren, Stephanie Pritchet and Jake Dewitt; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Madeline will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
