Born on January 28, 1952, she was a beloved mother to Antonio, Giuseppe, Nunzia, & Mariagrazia. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Bracigliano, Italy, surrounded by family and close friends.
Known for her caring and loving personality and the joy she took in spending time with all her grandchildren, Malfada will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Malfadas family asks that she be remembered for the happiness she brought to others in life, not for the sadness of her passing.
She is survived by her two sisters, Filomena Calabrese & Maria Russo, brothers, Giovanni Capaccio & Pasquale Capaccio, and was predeceased by her parents, Francesco & Parmerina Capaccio, and sister, Rosetta Ferrentino.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 123 William St. in Springfield on Monday, July 10th at 6 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
