Ms. Maggie Jane Corey, of Lewiston, Michigan died suddenly on September 2, 2025 at the age of 63. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Goble and Elizabeth (Bishop) Corey on November 28, 1961. She has resided in Lewiston since 2014. Maggie was close with her three children and could always be found in their company. She loved playing card games like Skip-Bo and Uno, and she enjoyed playing Monopoly and Life on the computer. She was a hippy at heart and enjoyed smoking the devil’s lettuce, socializing with friends, listening to music and having a good time. She also really loved doing latch hook. Maggie will be missed for her free spirit, her loving heart and her contagious smile.
She is remembered by her children, David (Kaitlyn) Corey, Brittany (Devon) Hubbard, and John Corey; grandchildren, Anna, Abigail, Emerson, Ezekiel, Ahlleviah, Liam, Dylann, Kenzie, Jaleigh, Raniah, Elaynah; great-granddaughters, A’Nyliah and Kei’Ahvianah; siblings, Kimberly Kalbfleisch, Mal (Michele) Corey (twin brother), Priscilla (Frank) Herzner, Charles (Paula) Stokes, James Michael Stokes, Martha Bogart, Brenda (Junior) Pittman, Mary Ross, and Roy (Melissa) Corey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Goble and Elizabeth Corey; brothers, Mark and Gene, sister, Vada, and uncle, Isaac.
Funeral services for Maggie will take place at noon on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston; Pastor Tony Petronico officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until time of service.
