My deepest condolences to the family. Losing a loved one is never easy, but our loving God promises to give the strength and courage you will need to endure and to cope with the pain of your loss. He also promises to hold your hand every step of the way (Isaiah 40:29 & 41:10).

I did not know little Maite Rodriguez, but her picture has captured my heart in such a special way. I do not know why. Maybe because she reminds me of my own 7 year old granddaughter, Eliana. My heart aches for her family, especially for her parents and siblings. Please, please accept my deepest, deepest condolences. I will continue to pray for you, little Maite and for your family and the entire town of Uvalde. You are loved.
