Mandy L. Elpers, 55, of Evansville, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the Heart to Heart Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family.
Mandy was born on March 21, 1969 in Evansville to the late Harold and Linda (Sumner) Bowers. Mandy was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. She was actively involved in her children's lives, supporting them in their sporting events and activities. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vanderburgh County, where she served as a Lector.
Surviving Mandy are her husband of 24 years, Brian Elpers; three children, Addison, Jordan and Brendan Elpers; a sister and brother-in-law, Kelli and Ed Richter; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Earlene Elpers; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Craig and Laura Elpers and Lynn and Brock Wagner.
In addition to her parents, Mandy was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Keith Ford.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 24, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vanderburgh County, Rev. Eugene Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 10:00 AM until service time on Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6202 W. St. Joseph Road.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
