Marc and I were not friends in high school, not even close. I may have nodded to him once or twice in the hallways during our four years together at The High. Through Facebook we connected and got to know each other. Here it is almost a month later that I find out of his passing through another connection on Facebook. I was disappointed he didn’t attend our 50th class reunion as I wanted to tell him we could have been friends back then, and we both missed an opportunity! An opportunity I missed with many of my classmates.
Rest easy my high school brother, we’ll catch up in he next life!

Marc was a good friend and a good man. We spoke often and he would always raise my spirits and have me laughing till it hurt. I will miss his keen observation and friendship. Rest in peace peace Marc. Mike Malleis, U of D High School 73'
