I Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NKJV) says, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord.”
Marceline Vilsaint was born on October 11, 1945, to Venicia and Philisma Vilsaint in (Cote-de-fer) North-West, Haiti. She was the first child born to the couple. Marceline had a great heart hence, to ensure a better life for her children, she emigrated to the US in 1981. Marceline was a mother, sister, aunt, grandma, and friend to so many.
She was a proud seven-day Adventist since 1992 when she joined Bethlehem SDA. She was fundamental in the building of this very church. She was always willing and ready to serve the church, however and whenever her help was needed. She later joined Jericho SDA, and she continued her selfless service there. Today she’s here where it all started as a servant of God in Bethlehem laying before us resting waiting upon her Lord and Savior.
Marceline Vilsaint, 79, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 12:45 pm after a long illness. Her son Michelin and granddaughter Janel were by her side at the time of death. While we grieve her passing, let us celebrate the beautiful life she lived and carry her spirit with us in our hearts. Marceline leaves behind a legacy of who she was: funny, kind, generous, forgiving, loving, and so much more. These legacies will forever touch the lives of those who knew and loved her.
As we honor her legacy, let us continue to embody the values she held dear. Marceline loved God immensely and it showed in the life she lived and the people and things she leaves behind. God’s love that is surrounding us today, is ever and always, eternally present to all his children.
To all my brothers and sisters in Christ; ; she is not dead but simply resting. While we are happy, she’s not suffering anymore, she leaves a deep sadness in the heart of her CHILDREN: James Tony Rock, Emmanuel Vilsaint, Joseph Vilsaint, Albertha Borelus, Carolyn Pierre, and Michelin Pierre; GRANDCHILDREN: Izziebella Rock, Manuel Vilsaint, Catiana Vilsaint, Enel Vilsaint, KatelineVilsaint, Jodelaine Vilsaint, Lewinsky Lalanne, JaelleValcourt, Angela Borelus, William Borelus, Janel Abel, Calen Abel, Jeremiah Medy, Jeamilah Medy, Nyiesha Pierre, and Jahcari Pierre; GREAT GRANDCHILD: Melanie Antoine; BROTHERS & SISTERS: Modest Vilsaint and family, Duglan Vilsaint and family, Yolande Vilsaint and family, and Micheline Vilsaint and family; she also leaves behind a host of other family members and friends that we will see her again.
