Marcella A. Albrecht, age 92, of St. Peter, Illinois passed away in the evening of Friday, June 7, 2024 at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shobonier with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to the time of service. Rev. Ryan Meyer will be officiating. Interment will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may go to Lutheran Care Center, St. Paul Lutheran Church, or the donor's choice.
Marcella was born on March 1, 1932 in Fayette Couty, Illinois, the daughter of Albert Louis and Ella Sophia (Beckmeier) Ehrat. She married Sherwin E. Albrecht on January 1, 1951 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Augsburg. She loved helping with the farm work, gardening, and crocheting. She definitely loved all children.
She is survived by: Daughter-in-law, Beth (husband Paul) Stroble of St. Louis, Missouri; sister-in-law, Marlene Forester (husband Joe) of Detroit, MI; extended family, Larry VonBehren (wife Kathy), Kristyn Rosenkoetter (husband Brian), Kaylee, Carson, and Lane Rosenkoetter, Kayla Etcheson (husband Jake), Kylie and Easton Etcheson, all of St. Peter, and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sherwin Albrecht; two sons James Albrecht; and Max Albrecht who died in infancy.
