She and her first husband immigrated to America after World War II with their only child, Danielle, first living in Montreal, Canada, where they learned to speak English and later settling in Connecticut for many years.
Marcelle and her second husband, Maurice Leland, retired to Boynton Beach and continued to enjoy hiking, traveling and biking together. Marcelle was an avid reader, enjoying novels both in French and English. She loved flowers and bird-watching and enjoyed photographing the exotic blooms and birds of Florida.
Marcelle is survived by her daughter, Danielle Boisse, grandson Matthew Humpage, and grandchildren Morgane, Arthur and Achilles, all of whom reside in France.
Her family would like to thank her dear friends and neighbors from Green Tree Villas in Boynton Beach for their kindness, affection and assistance to Marcelle over the years.
