Marci Ellen Connick

April 12, 1951 – November 3, 2025
Marci left this earthly world early in the morning of November 3rd to search for her "Unchained Melody", husband Dennis. Born in Lansing, Michigan to Frank and Dolores (Whitney), she began her schooling within the Catholic system, eventually transitioning to public school and graduating from Sexton High School. Soon after graduation, she met and married her best friend, Dennis, on February 21, 1970. They built a life together in Delta Township, raising three children; Michael, Erin and Jessica.
Marci was a stay-at-home mom, frequently spending her days volunteering at school as a Room Mother and participating on the PTO. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts such as cross-stitching and knitting. Vacations were spent with her family on the beaches of the Great Lakes, rock hunting and walking along the beautiful shores. Many summers were spent on Lake Superior camping and searching for the illustrious agate. In addition to family, she also enjoyed monthly euchre parties and yearly ski trips up north with friends. Marci and her husband shared the mutual love of antiques, spending many weekends traveling the state in search of new shops and attending antique shows.
More than anything in this world, Marci loved her grandchildren. If she could have taken them from her own children and raised them she would have. She spoiled them wildly and enjoyed shopping for them regularly.
Marci is survived by her children, Michael, Erin and Jessica (Scott); grandchildren Eleanor, Kaydie, Maxwell, Elliot, Olivia, Amelia, and Sullivan; and siblings Mike, Bob, Suzi, Maureen, and Krisann along with many nieces and nephews and other extended family members. She is proceeded in death by her father Frank, mother Dolores, sister Sheila and beloved husband, Dennis.
A celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2026.
