Marcia A. Daley (Wheeler), age 71, of Weymouth passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at home peacefully after a sudden illness. Marcia was born and raised in Weymouth where she attended Sacred Heart School all the way through to graduating High School from there in 1971. She met her husband, Tom, while working at the Telephone Company.
Marcia and Tom started a family in Quincy after getting married then settled in Weymouth in her long time family neighborhood. Marcia was always caring for those around her... from neighbors to family to friends, she was always looking after others. Marcia loved gardening and will be remembered for being a selfless, caring woman.
Marcia is predeceased by her husband Thomas Daley. She is survived by her two sons Tom Daley and his wife Nicole of Weymouth and Joe Daley of Weymouth, and her two grandchildren Tom and Ellie.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Marcia on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 2-5pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Friends are invited to gather in the funeral home Monday morning at 9:30am for a Celebration of Life prior to the Funeral Mass which will take place at 10:30 in the Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth-Braintree landing. Cremation will follow.
