Marcia Schreiner, 86 of Marinette, passed away at home on December 13, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born June 29, 1938, in Marinette to the late John and Esther (Erickson) Anderson. She graduated from Marinette High in 1957. On November 8, 1958, Marcia married Frederick Schreiner in Milwaukee; he preceded her in death in July of 2010. She worked as a CNA at the Luther Home for more than 30 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Marcia loved the outdoors, spending time at the cottage, gardening, watching the wildlife and birds. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, skating, and fishing. Her love was taking care of her family and spending time with the grandchildren.
She is survived by sons, Robert (Tracy) of Menominee, Eric (Virginia) of Marinette; daughters, Patricia (Robert) Treptow of Oconto, Cynthia (Robert) Simms of Grapeview, WA, and Christine (Stuart) Riley of Peshtigo; sister in law, Annette Anderson; grandchildren: Meagan (Issac), Erin, Michael (Brianna), John, Kelly, Joey, Tad, Jayden, Emily, Kody (Zaida), Cheyenne, Sierra, Nevada, Dylan, and Luke; nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers: Herbert (Marion) Anderson, John "Jack" Anderson, Baby Guy Anderson; sisters, Margaret (Theodore) Sturdy, Minerva (Herbert) Dettloff; and granddaughter, Sandy.
Visitation will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Menominee on Tuesday, December 17th from 11am until time of service. Funeral Services will be held at Noon with Pastor Christine Olson. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
