Marcia Wooldridge, 89, of Frankfort, passed away on November 8, 2025. She was born in Noblesville, Indiana, on June 4, 1936, the daughter of John and Rosemary (Lunsford) Cash.
Marcia was a 1954 graduate of Mulberry High School. In 1955, she married Richard Neal Wooldridge, and together they built a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work. Over the years, Marcia held various positions including Clinton County Auditor’s Office and for Dr. Stephen Matthews in Frankfort. During the 14 years she lived in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, she worked for Dr. James Hutchison.
Marcia was gifted with creativity and enjoyed quilting, sewing, and writing throughout her life. She shared her talents with her church family at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lafayette, where she organized a group that created quilts for missionaries.
She is survived by her daughters, Janette (Carl) Fox and Jill Stair; grandchildren, Justin Fox, Jennifer Fox, Janae (David) Erickson, and Kody Stair; and great-grandchildren, Emma Fox, Dane Erickson, Mark Erickson, and Koben Stair.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; her son, Jeffrey N. Wooldridge; and siblings, Larry Cash, Jerry Cash, Johnny Cash, and her twin sister, Sandra Gaylor.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Frankfort Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Franciscan Hospice, https://www.franciscanhealthfoundation.org/ways-give.
