Marcus Alan Hartzler was born on November 10, 1990 to Alan and Mickie (Hoban) Hartzler. Marcus graduated from Sidney High School in 2009 where he was involved in football, basketball, and track. He was a three-sport letter winner throughout High School and went on to attend Chadron State College on a track scholarship. Marcus enjoyed baseball, hunting, fishing, camping, and Lake McConaughy. You could find him hanging out with his teammates and friends. Marcus enjoyed his daughter Millee, she was the apple of daddy's eye. Marcus was a very loving father to his little girl, often sporting a tiara and playing dress up. Marcus enjoyed talking and playing sports with his nephew Kaiden. Marcus was a member of DeMolay from ninth grade until graduation and held many offices. He was idolized by younger cousins and was a role model to many. His enthusiasm for life, love for his family, and passion for sports will be missed by many.
