Marcy Leann Koplitz

Marcy L. Koplitz, 73 of Rothschild, died on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at home, surrounded by her family, under the care of ProMedica Hospice.
Marcy was born on December 10, 1949, in Wausau, the daughter of Robert and Marjorie (Tratz) Schulz.
On June 26, 1971, Marcy was united in marriage to Robert Koplitz at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Rothschild.
Marcy worked at Shopko in customer service for many years. She enjoyed planting flowers and reading. Marcy always looked forward to her yearly girls trips to Las Vegas with her friends. Her most precious time was spent with her family, especially her grandson, Bennett.
Marcy is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Corey (Heidi) Koplitz and Kami (Matthew) Resch; four grandchildren, Cassie Diers, Daniel Koplitz, Hailey (Carter) Abitz and Bennett Resch; siblings, Steven (Patricia) Schulz, Stan (Jill) Schulz, Mary Beth Sowinski and Skip (Sandy) Schulz, as well as close friends, Debbie Overbeck and Carol Buehler.
Marcy was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Roger Sowinski.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Rothschild. Rev. Phil Bogen will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9 AM until the time of service at the church. Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg is assisting the family with arrangements.
