Marcy K. Moratelli, 88, passed away in Petersburg, NJ on May 2, 2024. She was born in Scranton, PA on January 6, 1936. She formerly lived in Vineland, Tuckahoe, and Ormond Beach, FL.
Growing up in Vineland, she graduated from Vineland High School in 1954. After graduation she married Louis J. Moratelli. They were happily married for 57 years until his passing in January 2012.
Marcy was known for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. Throughout her life, Marcy was a dedicated mother, wife, and grandmother. She was a very active member of her local community. She was a local teacher aide in Woodbine and Minotola, and was a realtor in Ocean City before retiring to Ormond Beach, FL.
She is survived by her three children, Donna R. Moratelli of Farmingdale, Daniel J. Moratelli of Plainfield, and Susan Moratelli (Tony Castagna) of Petersburg; grandchildren, Marybeth Shermetaro (John), Jonathan Reed (Brittany) and Holly Kiester; and her great-grandchildren Calliope Shermetaro, and Blakely Reed.
A memorial service will be held in the Vineland area at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
