Annie Denise Jackson, a loving mother, grandmother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on March 16, 2025 at the age of 61.
Annie (Nisey) was born on October 7, 1963 in Vineland. She graduated from VIneland High School in 1981. After she graduated, she moved back to Millville where she was a resident until she passed. In 1988, Annie started working at Vineland Developmental Center. She was emplyed there for 32 years until she retired in May 2020.
Annie was known for her love of cooking, listening to music, shopping and taking care of family. Her and her husband Fred enjoyed going to the casino together and playing slots. They looked forward to going on vacations and loved spending time with their grandkids. In her past time, Annie took pride in her flowers. She looked forward to the summer for BBQs and cooking her famous crabs.
Annie is survived by her husband of 36 years, Fred Jackson (TeeWee). She will be deeply missed by her sons, Jare Brooks (Stephanie), Xavien (Kelsee), Fred, Troy Jr. and her godson Ricky Strickland. Annie also leaves behind her 5 grandchildren Jasir, Braylon, Indica, Avalon and Laylani.
She is also survived by many brothers and sisters. Louise, Loretta, Brenda, Jackie, Harold, Troy (Yolanda), Tiara, Robert and Vernon. Her brother and sister in laws held a speical place in her heart as well; Mother in law Marion Herring, Michael and Jackie Askins, Eric and Angel Bryant and Raymond and Charmaine Cullen. And a host of nieces and nephews. Annie had a special friend that will miss her dearly, Charlene Harden.
She was predeceased by her father, Clyde Jack Brooks, mother, Rosie Lee Brooks and brother, Daryl Lee Brooks.
Annie was loved by many and will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her. We will continue to honor her legacy by living our lives to the fullest.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2411 Memorial Ave., Port Norris, NJ 08349. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will be held at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Twp.
