Margie was born on March 24, 1939 in Marshfield to Frank and Hazel (Weigel) Weisenbeck. She graduated from Marshfield Columbus High School in 1957. She was united in marriage to Donald V. Bredl on October 26, 1963 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield. He passed away on July 11, 2003.
After graduation she worked on the family farm. In 1963, she started working at the old Norwood Health Care and Saint Joseph's Hospital as a nursing assistant. In the fall of 1970, she began a 45 year career as a bus driver, driving bus for all school events, morning and evening routes, and eventually using her nursing background to drive bus for handicapped children. Besides driving, she enjoyed fishing, spending time with her grandchild Corey and dog Billy, going to the casino, and mowing lawn.
She is survived by her daughter, Lory (Scott) Kohls of Stratford, son, Gary Bredl of Marshfield, and grandchild, Corey Kohls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Mary Forest, and brothers, John (Thalma) Weisenbeck and Herman Weisenbeck.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff at Abbottsford Health Care Center, all the hospice care staff who took care of mom, neighbor, Travis Kremer, and all who stopped in to say "hi."
