Margaret Kinlaw Drury, lovingly known as ''Cupid'' to her family and friends, passed away on Monday, April 28th, at the age of 83, with her family by her side at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Florida.
Born and raised in St. Augustine, Cupid spent her entire life in the community she loved. She was a proud graduate of St. Augustine High School, having spent the first half of her senior year at Ketterlinus High School. She was part of the historic class of 1960-the first to graduate from the new St. Augustine High School campus.
Cupid worked as the Parts and Service Manager at Sears during its time on St. George Street and later at the Ponce de Leon Mall. After her department was closed, she continued her career in the office at V.J. Usina Construction Co. before taking early retirement to enjoy fishing with her beloved husband, Arnold Drury.
She had a passion for gardening and especially loved redbirds and nasturtiums. A devoted fan of stock car racing, she never missed a televised NASCAR race. She was a woman of the Methodist faith, known most of all for her unwavering dedication to her family as a loving wife, mother, and
''Mommom'' (grandmother). Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.
Cupid was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Vera Kinlaw; her husband, Arnold Drury; her brothers Walter, Robert, Ray, and Jerry Kinlaw; and her sisters Jo Morrison Amos, Jeanette Malkowski, Anna Laura Eddins, and Frances DeLaHunt. Also preceding her in death were Tommy Morrison, Robby Morrison, and Ginny Morrison Hardersen, all of whom were raised as siblings.
She is survived by her son, Wade Drury (Faith) of St. Augustine; her grandchildren, Ashley Lester (Shane), Dillon Drury, both of St. Augustine, and Jordan Drury of Elkton; her great-grandchildren, Estella, Eva, Gunner, and Cooper, all of St. Augustine; her brother, Edwin Kinlaw (Elia) of Hastings; and Melanie Morrison (Walter), who was raised as a sister. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews and longtime friend Kathy Zimmer.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16th at Freedom Baptist Church with Reverend Clarence officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., with the service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Flowers, live plants or donations to a favorite charity are gratefully welcomed. A private interment will be held at a later date.

The memory Cupid gave me was to make sure I made memories with my grandkids. To this day my boys remember the places we went to and the trips we took. I will never forget that bit of advise. She was a wonderful friend to this Yankee friend of hers>
