Margaret Ann Finnemore

We Celebrate The Life of Margaret (Peggy) Ann Finnemore (Halloran)
Peggy passed away at the age of 90 on June 13th at a memory facility In Whitinsville MA. She
was born in Waltham, MA to John and Margaret Halloran. She was the youngest of eight and
grew up in Newton, MA. She made Yarmouth Port on Cape Cod her home in later life.
She is survived by her 3 children Wayne Caruso of Milford, Sheryl Caruso of Millis, and Paul
and Kathryn Caruso of Eastham. She had 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Peggy held a number of jobs. These include dietary aide and cleaning and cooking for the
clergy. She was most proud of the fact that she started her own successful cleaning business
which she ran for many years.
Peggy had a deep Christian faith. She was a proud member of the Red Hatters Club and
enjoyed ceramics. She loved the beach and would spend most summer afternoons basking in
the sun. Her favorite hobby was shopping. Peggy was 'in the know' of a sale within a 25 mile
radius at any given time. The day after Christmas sales are how she started for the next year.
One of her true joys was being with family at the holidays; showing up with a car packed full of
gifts and watching them open the presents she accumulated all year.
A service will be held at the Roberts, Mitchell, Caruso Funeral Home in Medfield, MA on
Sunday, June 22nd, 10 am - 12 pm. There will be a get together following the service at the
Kingsbury Club in Medfield, MA. A private burial will be held at a later date.
