Margaret Hartmann Obituary

Margaret met the love of her life, Charles J. Hartmann, whom she married in September 1983. Charles built their home that they would share together for many happy years in Greenland. After retiring from running her own business, Exeter Casuals, Margaret and Charles enjoyed winters on Pine Island, Florida, as snowbirds. They embodied the spirit of soul mates with their love of birding, boating, gardening, and many other shared interests.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles, her sister Kit, and several close family members. She is survived by her son Robert "Tad" Volk Jr., her sister Anne Coombs, and many dear members of her extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Audubon Society or the New Hampshire SPCA in Margaret's memory.
A private graveside service will be held.
