Margaret McGregor Kennedy

Margaret McGregor (Summers) Kennedy, of Westerville, Ohio passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Gables of Westerville.
Margaret Kennedy was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on November 13, 1935, to the late John McLaren Summers and Jane Ewing (McIntyre) Summers.
Following her education, Margaret worked as an office assistant/manager in the Aero Engine manufacturing industry. She also worked in the US for Timken USA, OHMS and Ultryx Corporation.
Margaret met Donald L. Kennedy in Cheltenham, England in 1959 while he was based in Fairford Air Base and married the love of her life in 1961. The two moved to the United States and went on to enjoy nearly 58 years of marriage, before Don's passing on August 15, 2019.
In her spare time, Margaret would practice tap dancing, play piano, she loved to bake and attend cooking parties with her friends. Margaret also travelled and lived all over the world, places including Okinawa, Scotland, England, as well many states within the US making Ohio their home. Even after living in so many different places, Margaret was always proud of her Scottish heritage.
Margaret was a funny, bubbly, loving, and caring person who will be missed by so many.
Margaret is survived by her sister Anne Craig; brother-in-law Gary Kennedy; nieces and nephew; Carol (Norrie), Douglas (Sue) and Jane (Gareth) as well as being a great and great great aunt and many close friends.
In addition to her parents, Margaret McGregor Kennedy is preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Kennedy and brother-in-law Alfred Kennedy.
A memorial service will be held at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center in Delaware, Ohio at 4 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
