Margaret M. Lane (nee Manahan) passed away Sept. 3, 2025. Loving wife of the late Dennis L. Lane, the late Francis J. Bailey, and the late Richard J. Ireczek. Beloved mother of the late Barbara Ireczek, stepmother of Rita Lane Paris (late Gil), Nancy Lane Postula (Michael), the late Jan Lane Soule (John), Dennis Greg Lane, Kevin Lane (Lynn), the late Robert Bailey (Patsy and the late Celeste) and the late Thomas Bailey (Shirley). Godmother of 9. Grandmother of 16,great-grandmother of 23 and great-great-grandmother of 4. Daughter of the late Lewis and Lillian Manahan and stepdaughter of the late Florence Manahan. Sister of Lois (the late James) Hamon, her late twin brother Raymond (late Maureen) Manahan, and the late Donald (Nora) Manahan. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews, and dear friend of many. Graduate of St. Teresa College and DePaul University. Margaret had a varied career. Visitation Saturday, Sept 13th at Donnellan Funeral Home 10525 S. Western Ave, Chicago from 9:00 am until time of Chapel Service at 10:30 am. Entombment Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls 1140 W.
