Patricia M. "Pat" Laux

Patricia "Pat" M. Laux, age 82, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Oakridge Gardens in Menasha. On April 22, 1943, Pat was born in Clintonville, Wisconsin to Joseph and Adeline (Buelow) Laux, growing up on the family farm. Upon graduation from Clintonville High School, Pat continued her education at the College of St. Teresa in Winona, Minnesota. She then worked for Prairie Farmer Magazine for 6 years in Chicago before moving to Neenah working for J. J. Keller and Associates. Pat retired as an Editor after being employed there for 37 years. Pat enjoyed being social and was a member of the Red Hat Society as well as St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Neenah. She was a devout Catholic and felt a sense of family with this parish. Pat was very involved with the church volunteering her time with the choir and many other church events. Pat loved cooking, baking, gardening, traveling, with her most memorable place to visit being Isreal, and being a season ticket holder at the PAC.
Pat was a lovely person and will be greatly missed by her sister-in-law, Luella Laux; her nieces and nephews: Joseph (Janice) Laux III, David (Nancy) Laux, John Laux, Jeanne (Kenny) Brauer, George Laux Jr., Donald Laux, Linda (Steve) Fafnis; as well as many special relatives and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Donald Laux, Joseph (Barb) Laux Jr., Tom (Bonnie) Laux, and George Laux Sr. and her nephew, Peter Laux.
The Memorial Mass for Pat will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah, Wisconsin 54956. A Time of Gathering will be held from 9:30 AM until the hour of the Mass at the church.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Emerald Ridge Assisted Living and Oakridge Gardens, as well as the caregivers from Bristol Hospice. Their loving care, support, and kindness shown to Pat and her family was truly appreciated. They would also like to thank Casey Auer, a volunteer from St. Gabriel's, that went above and beyond to assist Pat when she needed a helping hand.
