Deanne Caspari, 73, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her home on August 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was a woman of grace, strength, and unending kindness. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who brought light and love into every room she entered.
Born in March 1952 to Wilbur and Mary Frances (Haverkort) Davis, Deanne was raised in a home rooted in warmth and love. She attended St. Joseph Cathedral School, Helias Catholic High School, and earned her bachelor's degree in education from Avila College. In the span of a single year, she graduated from college, married the love of her life, Raymond Caspari, Jr., moved out of her parents' home, and welcomed into the world twin daughters, Ann and Beth. A whirlwind of change that she embraced with poise and joy. A few years later, the birth of their son, Craig, completed the family she cherished so deeply. A testament to her resilience and capacity for love.
Deanne worked briefly as an elementary school teacher, where her youthful appearance often had people mistaking her for one of her students. She also periodically worked at Missouri Builder's Service, which she and Raymond owned, assisting with payroll and other tasks as needed. After becoming a mother, she chose to focus full-time on her family, building a home that was supportive, warm, and impeccably kept. She was the heartbeat of that household and the reason her husband came home each day, instead of setting up permanent residence on the golf course. Deanne treasured Christmas trips to Branson, as well as simple family gatherings at home, especially by their pool. She delighted in giving gifts to her loved ones and found joy in the companionship of the many dogs and cats that filled her home.
A lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph's Cathedral, Deanne lived her faith in the way she treated others - with compassion, humility, and a generous spirit. She adored the Beatles, had a natural elegance, and was always smiling, with a gift for making others feel welcome, seen, and loved.
She is survived by: her devoted husband, Raymond; her treasured children, Ann Linhardt (Craig Linhardt) of Jefferson City, MO, Beth Caspari (Justin Mitchell) of St. Louis, MO, and Craig Caspari of Shawnee, KS; her four beloved grandchildren, Addison Van Ronzelen (Jake Van Ronzelen), Davis Linhardt, Lucianna Linhardt, and Charles Mitchell; her dear sister, Marilyn Evers (Reginald Evers); many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Prudence and Penny Lane. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Mary Frances Davis.
She was classy. She was kind. She was the soul of her family and she will be missed beyond measure.
Visitation will be held at the Cathedral of St. Joseph from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Reverend Joshua Duncan officiating. A private graveside service and entombment will be held at the Mausoleum of Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness in her memory, just as she would have done. If you would like to make a memorial donation, the family suggests the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 2305 W Main St, Jefferson City, MO 65109; Helias Foundation, 1312 Southwest Blvd, Jefferson City, MO 65109; or the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, 31970 State Highway P, Clyde, MO 64432.
