Kelly Ann Osborne Pearl, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and educator, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025. Born on June 25, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Garold F. and Katherine L. Osborne, Kelly lived a life full of love, purpose, and unwavering faith.
A lifelong learner and passionate teacher, Kelly earned her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Kansas and later completed her master's degree in education at Avila University. She dedicated 34 years to teaching high school, touching countless lives with her wisdom, compassion, and commitment to her students.
Kelly is survived by her loving father, Garold F. Osborne; her devoted husband of 38 years, Ivan W. Pearl Jr.; her children, Brandon Pearl (Karissa) and Britny Matthews; and her seven cherished grandchildren: Kenley, Braxdon, Bryson, Kimmie, Durron, Demetri, and Dakota. She also leaves behind her siblings Rick Osborne (Julie), Corby Kessler (Mark), Mark Osborne (Cheryl), and Kim Jarrett (Mike); extended siblings Evonne Lofton, Vivian Wallace (Mike), Regena Pearl, and Jack Pearl (Desi); along with 21 nieces and nephews and 40 great-nieces and nephews.
Kelly lived her life with no regrets. She found joy in every role she held-teacher, wife, mother, sister, and friend-but nothing brought her more happiness than being "Grandma." Her grandchildren were her heart, and the last decade of her life was filled with their laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
If you asked Kelly about her life, she would simply say she was truly blessed. She departed this world with peace in her heart, knowing her Savior and looking forward to meeting Him.
Her legacy of love, faith, and dedication will live on in all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025, 10:00 am at Concord Fortress of Hope Church. Visitation 9:00 am-10:00am at the church. Interment in Mount Washington Cemetery. Services conducted Watkins Heritage Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
