Margaret (Ruth) Davis Mullen, 79, of Rawlings, MD died peacefully at home surrounded by her family, kitties, and mountains on November 12, 2025.
She was born July 14, 1946 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Frank George and Agnes Irene Davis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank George Davis.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 62 years, Welbey Woodrow Mullen; her children, Welbey Mullen and wife Tammy, David Mullen, Steven Mullen and wife Kim, Brenda LaPrade and husband Michael, Jamie Brant and husband Robert; seven, grandchildren; ten, great-grandchildren; seven, step grandchildren; eleven, step great-grandchildren; siblings, Katherine O'Kelly, James Davis and wife Pat, Helen Mason; her large extended family including many nieces and nephews; and many friends and animals.
Her greatest accomplishment was being a wife mother grandmother and great-grandmother. She was truly the rock of the family making sure every child or animal knew love. She was an active member of the Rawlings United Methodist Church.
She worked for the Baltimore County Department of Transportation for over 20 years as a school bus driver. Followed by 15 years driving a school bus for Allegany County Public Schools.
Viewing will be Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Sunday, November 16, 2025 beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael McGowan officiating. Viewing will be held for one hour prior to service.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Rawlings United Methodist Church and UPMC Western Maryland Hospice.
