Margaret M. (Woods) Rudy 73, of East Falmouth and a former resident of Malden, passed away peacefully, Thursday May 29, 2025 at Sippican Healthcare Center in Marion, following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Stephen J. Rudy, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage.
Born April 23, 1952, in Boston a daughter of the late Charles A. and Mary (Greene) Woods, she was raised and educated in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston.
A graduate of Blessed Sacrament High school, she then went on to attend UMASS Boston. While attending high school she assisted in the church's rectory and then worked in the food service industry mainly as a bartender.
She enjoyed spend time on the golf course and her community of East Falmouth.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister, Janice Roddy and her husband Jim of Franklin and her nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday June 7th, at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Blaise Church 1158 South Main St. Bellingham, MA at 10AM.
Calling hours are Friday June 6th, from 4-7PM.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin.
