Margaret A. Santanelli, 91, of Londonderry, NH, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Warde Health Center in Windham, NH. She was born on August 16, 1932, in Casanova, Italy to the late Michael and Angelina (Miola) Lania.
Margaret came to America when she was a teenager and lived in Malden, MA most of her life. She worked for National Radio in Melrose, MA and for AGFA In Andover, MA as an electrical engineer. She enjoyed being outside in her gardens, at the ocean, and in the mountains. What Margaret loved most though was spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Diane Santanelli of Londonderry, NH and Angela McCue and her husband Thomas of Rhode Island; her siblings, Frank Lania and Antonietta Lania; and her grandchildren, Marisa Mullaly, James Mullaly, Vincent Spencer, Jordan Spencer, Michael McCue, and Megan Rice.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by the love of her life, George Santanelli; her son, George Santanelli Jr.; and her sister, Stella Royal.
Visitation will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 10:00-12:00pm at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH. A Funeral Service will follow immediately at 12:00pm.
