A celebration of Margaret's life will be held later this year in the summer.
Margaret was born on February 3, 1932 in Illinois to Anton Liesberger and Leona Weidner. She worked for McCain Foods and Laura's Nursery. Margaret married Dale Footit on July 8, 1949. He preceded her in death on September 2, 1974. She then married Harvey Schreader on February 23, 1980. He also preceded her in death on February 16, 1989.
In Margaret's younger years she enjoyed bowling and participated in various bowling tournaments. She also liked camping, snowmobiling, NASCAR and cutting firewood. Her relaxation time was usually spent crocheting. Margaret loved all the time she was able to spend with her family, especially all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.Margaret is survived by her son Robert (Sherry) Footit of Plainfield, daughters Linda (Dale) Thurber of Wisconsin Rapids and Bonnie (Norman) Sutherland of Nekoosa, grandchildren Scott (Ranee) Thurber, Michael (Debbie) Footit, Trina (Josh) McDonald, Holly (Kyle) Resheske, Terri (Trevor) Dickey, Heidi (Lance) Schroeder, Wayne (Brandy) Footit, Amy (Jason) Gonzalez, Tanya (Zane) Nance, great-grandchildren Brooke Thurber, Blaze Thurber, Keaton Kotek, Daley Knoll, Jolie McDonald, Raylin McDonald, Talynn Dickey, Evan Resheske, Eli Resheske, Jauston Sutherland, John Sisneros, Justin Wilhoite, Cody Footit, Emma Footit, Jason Jr. Gonzalez, Alex Gonzalez, Shelbie Nance, Kealy Nance, great-great grandchildren Aubrey, Levi, Natalia Kotek, Corbin and Maddilyn Nance, Ellia Nance, Timothy Footit, siblings Vern (Gloria) Zimmerman, James (Karen) Zimmerman, Lou Dever, sisters-in-law Pat Footit, Betty Zimmerman/Hutkowski. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Leona Zimmerman, husbands Dale Footit and Harvey Schreader, son Roger Footit and brother Frank Liesberger.
Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa, Wisconsin is assisting the family with arrangements.
