Margaret Johnson Warren, 83, died peacefully at home in Georgetown, Kentucky surrounded by family on Thursday, July 10, 2025. She was one of twelve siblings born to the late Goldie Tudor Johnson and J.W. (Bill) Johnson at home in Georgetown on October 6, 1941. She entered the first class at Scott County High School, graduating in 1959. Margaret was married to the late Bobby Russell Warren. They raised one son, Ron Warren, but had a large extended family of nieces and nephews. Margaret was always a bright, cheerful, and happy sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, who dearly loved her family. Margaret worked many years with the Scott County Attorney's Office as a Child Support officer. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, bowling, boating, sunbathing, traveling, and the beach. She was an avid reader and a great card player, especially good at Rook. Margaret was a Christian and member of Victory Life Church in Georgetown.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her son, Ron Warren of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Derek Curtis Warren, and Ashlyn Nicole Warren; her siblings, H.T. Johnson, Alfred Johnson, Joe W. Johnson, and Connie Johnson Tackett; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her siblings; Elsie Johnson Sharp, Martha Johnson Burke, Paul Johnson, Richard Johnson, Charles Johnson, Randy Johnson, and Sue Johnson Hart.
A Celebration of Life for Margaret Warren will be Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The Service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Gary Toney officiating. Graveside Service will follow in procession to Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Georgetown.
