Margarita has been a resident since 1999, previously from Rockland County.
She was the wife of Sotirios " Steve" Drivas they were married on March 9, 1975, in Greece, and Sotitios predeceased her on May 5, 2014.
Margarita was a member of Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church in Poughkeepsie.
She loved to travel to Greece, but the most important part of her life was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Jim and Marial Drivas Pleasant Valley New York, son George Drivas Millbrook New York, grandchildren Salvatore, Giorgio, Margaret, Sotirios, siblings Pamagiotis Drivas, Matina Lekakis, Gianoula Stathakis and several nieces and nephews
Friends may call on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
Funeral Service will be held June 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM from Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church, 140 South Grand Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
Interment will take place in St. Peters Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
