It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Margie Darlene Henderson Taylor, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was born July 6th, 1948, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Lowell J. Henderson and Clara Joyce Kerbow. She died in Youngstown, Florida, on September 6th, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents and a half-sister, Christina Henderson.
Margie came from Fort Worth, Texas, to Panama City, Florida, and attended Rutherford High School. There she met her future husband, John Taylor, and was crowned Homecoming Queen. Margie and John married in 1968 and spent 56 years together.
They have six children: Catherine, John, Amy (Robert}, Michael, David (Alisha}, and Debbie Taylor (Hassan). Margie filled the world with kindness, creativity, humor, and love, and she will be greatly missed by many.
Along with her husband and children, she is survived by her grandchildren, Zachariah, Dove, Jay, and Joyce Kemper; Taylin Crisp, Lilyan Taylor, and Avrum Crisp; Alexis, Eliza, and Aydan Scott; and Nox Taylor. In addition, she is survived by her siblings, Robert and D.J. Henderson, her sister-in-law, Diane Taylor, her nephew, Ernie Taylor, her niece, Renee Boudreaux, and numerous other extended family.
