Margie Pendleton Obituary
Margie was born in Conway, South Carolina to Rev. Ollie and Nettie Sellers on June 3rd, 1934. Margie attended high school at Conway High School and began attending Holmes Bible College during her junior year in high school. She met her husband, Rev. Doug Clark, while at Bible College and soon after graduating, they were married and began their lives together pastoring their first church. They built and pastored many churches together for over twenty-four years and Margie was always a loving, caring and devoted pastor's wife. She thoroughly enjoyed being in ministry and raising her two children. Margie was a wonderful mother. She loved being in ministry and fellowshipping with cherished friends from the congregation. Later in her life she married again to her husband Carl Pendleton. They were married for 48 years. They had a wonderful and full life together, enjoying their family and the fruits of their labor.
Margie is survived by Jeff Clark, son, of NW Arkansas. Julie Clark, daughter-in-law, NW Arkansas. Granddaughter Indiana Clark of the Big Island, Hawaii. Grandson Doug Clark (son of Jeff Clark) of Temecula. Great granddaughters, Sophia and Roxy Clark. Pam Fender, daughter, of Huntington Beach. Brian Fender, son-in-law of Huntington Beach. Roland Harrell, brother-in-law, of Raleigh, NC. Carl Pendleton Jr., Stepson, of Colorado. Doug Pendleton, stepson, of Carson City, NV. Linda Pendleton, daughter-in-law. Sherrie Pendleton, stepdaughter, of Missouri. Brett Pendleton, step grandson, of California. Judy Pendleton, (wife of son Jerry, deceased), daughter-in-law. Nieces and nephews: Gregg Brown, Lisa Sawyer, Tim Harrell, Bobby Sellers, Melinda Sellers-McLamb.
Margie is proceeded in death by her loving husband Carl Pendleton, Rev. Ollie and Nellie Sellers, parents. Robert Sellers, brother, Edna Earl Brown, sister, Charles Brown, brother-in-law, Phyllis Harrell, sister, Kenneth Harrell, nephew. Jerry Pendleton, stepson.
