Marguerite (Maggie) Hansen passed away peacefully on April 26th 2024.
Born on July 21, 1955, Maggie was predeceased by her parents Roy and Marguerite (nee Van Vlierberghe) Clark and former husband Richard Hansen.
She is survived by her loving children, April (Seth) Hansen and Zachary Hansen.
Her adoring family include grandchildren, Hailee, Azalynn, and Brayden, and siblings Millie Lipke, Gary (Marty) Clark, Roy Clark, and Mary Ann (Barney) Confrey.
Also loving nieces and nephews, Ryan (Jill), Casey (Doug), Josh, Jennifer, Roy, Jarrett, Devon, and Jordan (Daniel).
.and many other loving family members here and in Belgium.
Maggie grew up in Douglaz, AZ and attended Douglas High School before moving to Tucson.
Family was everything to Maggie and she was dedicated to raising her children and grandchildren.
Maggie was a rock. She was a mentor and nurturer and encouraged us all. She was smart, insightful, tough, and loyal. A beautiful shining star, fiercely funny, and thoughtful of others.
Maggie heard her own voice and wasn't easily told what to do. She was a partner in a family landscaping business and she also worked many years in the hospitality industry, making everyone around her better.
Maggie loved adventure and had many with her friends and family.
Maggie loved to be in nature, to hike, to grow plants, and to be on the beach in Mexico.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers a small donation be sent to the Humane Society of Tucson.
