Our Dear Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother & Aunt. Loris Leone Hansen left her earthly life just short of her 90th birthday.
Mom grew up in Sandy, Utah with 10 siblings as the 8th child. Her childhood was humble during the depression years.
She meet Robert L. Hansen and they were married in Elko, Nevada January 9, 1957 before dad went into the military. She then followed him to Italy where he was stationed. They loved it there!
They then came back home to Utah and started their family. On February 12, 1965 they were married in the Logan Temple.
Mom loved family, music and chocolate. She enjoyed making friends as they moved from place to place. She loved her Lowery organ friends that had the same love and interests in music. She was so talented and played any song she knew by ear. She also enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting and tying quilts. Her baking was enjoyed by all.
She loved babies, children, grandchildren and greats as they came along. Nieces and nephews whom she tended and loved. She enjoyed all memories made with family so much.. mom could never have enough time with those she loved. Her family was most important. She supported her kids and grandchildren in sports or any life events or passions they were involved in.
She built holiday traditions with Christmas, Thanksgiving and family dinners. Her legacy and love will be remembered forever!
Her faith and prayers for all is an example of strength when difficult times come along with the good. She always talked of praying for all of us when we were with her. We love her and will miss her greatly. Enjoy Dad and Trent and all those who went before you!
Love you mom!
