Dean LeRoy Myers, born August 20, 1950, in Aurora, IL, USA, was an adventurous soul who lived life in vibrant colors right up until his peaceful departure on September 30, 2025. Dean, a charismatic and compassionate individual, was known for his infectious laughter, his love for the simple pleasures of life, and the warmth he extended to those around him. Dean's life was a testament to the quote, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all."
Dean was a loyal friend and beloved family member, who made a profound impact on the lives of those fortunate to know him. His love for his friends and family was always apparent and was the driving force behind his every action. Dean was a renowned social worker, and his compassion and empathy were evident in his work at the hospital. His academic journey was marked by a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Williams College and a Master of Science degree from Wright State University. His career was a reflection of his compassionate and caring nature, where he devoted himself to helping others, leaving an indelible mark on countless lives.

Dean is survived by his loving husband, Gayle Bingham, his step-daughters Liz Bingham and Amy (Kandi) Bingham, his brother Danny Myers, his sister Kathy Myers, and his dear Aunt Rosaline Russ. His parents, Jack Myers and Loretta Russ, and his brother Gary Myers preceded him in death.
