Ms. Maria Esther Gonzalez, 83, peacefully went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2025 at La Frontera Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Laredo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Macedonio and Otilia Gonzalez; sister, Dora G. Reed; brother-in-law; Joe M. Reed Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings; Jesus Roberto (Janie) Gonzalez and Cristina (Johnny) Aldape; nieces and nephews; Joe M. (Claudia) Reed Jr., William Reed, Clara Reed (Albert) Torres, Johnny (Rachael) Aldape, Jr., Yvette (Mark) Swiney, Eric (Mary) Aldape, Adriana Gonzalez (Julio) Lopez, Idalia (Rolando) Flores, Jesse (Liz) Gonzalez and Robert Gonzalez also numerous grand nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be receiving condolences on Saturday morning, June 21, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning, June 21, 2025 departing at 9 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Johnny Aldape Jr., Eric Aldape, Billy Reed, Damian Reed, Rolando Flores and Jessie Gonzalez.
The Family would like to thank her doctor Luis Benavides, all the nurses and personnel at La Frontera Nursing Home who cared for her for over 16 years, Idalia Flores, Ms. Lisa Sotelo, Billy Reed, and to a special niece, Clara Reed Torres who always saw over her needs.
