With deep sorrow and hearts full of love, the García de Guzmán family announces the passing of our beloved María Cristina Guzmán García-a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and irreplaceable friend-who has gone to be with the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of light, faith, and dedication in the lives of all who knew her.
Cristina was a deeply devoted daughter of God, with a sincere and unwavering faith in the Divine Child Jesus, to whom she entrusted every step of her life. Her spirituality was as strong as her kind heart and her commitment to everything she did.
From a young age, Cristina stood out as an exemplary student in her native Colombia, and later in the United States, she continued to shine as a top student at the University of Georgia, where she was admired for her excellence, responsibility, and grace.
Those of us who had the honor of sharing life with her will always remember her as a woman of strong values, deeply devoted to her family, loving to her nieces, attentive to every detail, and with a tenderness that touched every heart.
Her departure leaves a profound emptiness, but also an eternal legacy of love, faith, and inspiration.

Con profundo dolor y el corazón lleno de amor, la familia García de Guzmán informa el fallecimiento de nuestra amada María Cristina Guzmán Garcia, hija, hermana, tía, prima y amiga inigualable, quien partió al encuentro con el Señor dejando una huella de luz, fe y entrega en todos quienes la conocimos.
Cristina fue una hija de Dios profundamente creyente, con una devoción sincera al Divino Niño Jesús, a quien encomendaba cada paso de su vida. Su espiritualidad era tan fuerte como su carácter amable y su compromiso con todo lo que hacía.
Desde pequeña se destacó como estudiante ejemplar en su natal Colombia, y más adelante, en los Estados Unidos, continuó brillando como alumna de primera fila en la Universidad de Georgia, donde dejó una impresión de excelencia, responsabilidad y nobleza.
Quienes tuvimos el honor de compartir la vida con ella, la recordamos como una mujer de principios firmes, entregada a su familia, amorosa con sus sobrinas, dedicada a cada detalle, y con una dulzura que marcaba corazones.
Su partida nos deja un vacío profundo, pero también un legado eterno de amor, fe y ejemplo.
