Maria Camila Rodriguez Hozman
Age 34, of Buford, Georgia

Maria Camila Rodriguez Hozman, lovingly known as Camila, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 13, 2025. A Memorial Service honoring her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 23, 2025, in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM.
Camila was a bright, joyful, and deeply compassionate woman who radiated warmth wherever she went. She was outgoing, funny, sweet, and always thinking of others. Her thoughtfulness was matched by her fierce love for her family - especially her son, Noah. She was a wonderful mother, always doing her very best. Whether it was carefully packing his lunch with his favorite spoons or keeping extra toys and clothes in the car just in case, she parented with intentionality and care. Camila loved to take Noah to the playground, the BeltLine, the Coke Museum, the aquarium, the library, the children's museum, and to pick berries. She proudly dedicated Noah to the Lord and recently chose to be baptized at the same church, publicly professing her faith in Jesus. As a devoted member of Victory Church – Hamilton Mill, she was faithful, prayerful, and deeply committed to raising her son to know and love God. Camila was a Registered Nurse at Northside Hospital - a role that came naturally to someone so caring and gentle. She was attentive to her younger cousins, always making sure everyone around her felt safe and supported. She loved walking outdoors, organizing and cleaning her home, and creating a beautiful space for her family. Born in Colombia, Camila loved returning to her home country to visit family and celebrate her culture. She loved to dance, to be surrounded by loved ones, and to laugh. Her joy was infectious and her spirit unforgettable. Camila is survived by her son, Noah Halla; her parents, Maria Hozman Baron and Jorge E. Rodriguez Cardozo; her sister Ana Rodriguez Hozman and brother-in-law Robert Rios; her nephew, Sebastian; her uncles: Nelson (Claudia) Hozman, Camilo (Giovanna) Hozman, Rick (Alice) Hozman, and Aristobulo Rodriguez; her aunts: Gail Hozman and Ines Rodriguez; and her cousins: Juan, Patty, David, Shanna, Christian, Jonathan, Laura, Daniela, Stephen, Robert, Ashley, Justin, Nathan, Paola, Jenny, Diego, and Maria Angelica. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Maria Antonia Baron Hozman and Ruben Dario Hozman; her paternal grandparents, Margot Rodriguez and Eduardo Rodriguez; her aunt, Rosa Hernandez; and her uncle, Roberto Hozman. Camila's legacy is one of love, kindness, and faith. Her memory will live on through her son, her family, and everyone whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund in support of her son, Noah. Arrangements made by Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road SW, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. 770-962-3100.
